Life at the academy
A day at our academy: 8 am to 4 pm
- 8 am- Morning activity
- 9 to 9:30 am- Welcome
- 9:30 to 12 am- Work on the Montessori Children’s House environment + healthy breakfast
- 12 am- Art. Music. Yoga
- 12:30 pm- Patio + Games + Gardening
- 1:30 pm- Lunch
- 2:15 pm- Relaxation/Nap or Library
- 15 pm- Afternoon activity
- 16 pm- End of the day

Materials
Real, beautiful, aesthetic, complete, clean, attractive; offer the child a variety of textures, smells, colors, to explore and develop his senses, including living beings as ornamental plants.
Work Areas
Practical Life
Children acquire skills and knowledge that gradually help them achieve independence, including cooking, sewing, floral arrangements, personal hygiene.
Sensorial
The senses are worked to strengthen neural connections. Activities involving volume, colors, textures, smells, tastes.
Mathematics
Children explore and learn quantities, symbols, volumes, and operations such as additon, subtraction, multiplication, and fraccions, as well as their connection to the real world.
Language
Children work with nomenclature to acquire as broad a vocabulary as possible, develop phonetic awareness, practice writting and grammar. Concrete material and activities are 100% in spanish and english.
Geography, zoology, botany, science, art and music
Are learned in a very sensory way, explored through hands-on activities and experiments.
Menu
At Beautiful Minds, meal time is very important; children actively participate in setting the table, cutting, serving food, and maintaining a clean space.
